Looking through a tattoo artist's portfolio at the shop, website or social media is one way to narrow it down. We encourage meeting your artist for a consultation to make sure you jive. Some tattoos take more than an hour, and we want you to be as comfortable as possible. If you get along with your artist it will be a lot more pleasant experience!
Just because a tattoo artist can execute a flawless portrait, doesn't mean that they can execute the water color look you want. Check that their portfolio has a similar design style to what you want. If you don't see anything in their portfolio, ask. Not all of their art is in their portfolio, and tattoo artists love to show off their work!
Most tattoos can be done as a walk-in (without an appointment). If your design requires extra prep time, or you have a specific time you want it done, then making an appointment might be right for you.
Locals and Tourists
Our hours are set to be convenient for the loyal locals and the awesome tourists who visit our beautiful town!
On vacation and want to get a tattoo? No problem! We recommend visiting us at the beginning of your vacation to make your appointment for the end of your visit. After you get a tattoo you can't be out in the sun or surf for 2 weeks! We want you to enjoy everything our town has to offer, so save your tattoo for the end of your trip!
Consultation
Walk-in for a consultation, or call and set a consultation time with an artist!
Your consultation will make sure you and your artist are on the same page. BRING IN REFERENCES! On your phone, or printed, the more references, the easier for your artist to understand your likes and dislikes.
Pricing
Our artists price tattoos by the piece. Variables that affect the price of your tattoo are size, detail, style, and tattoo location.
Appointments
To make an appointment, we require that you come in person. Deposits are required to make an appointment (explained below). We also require paperwork to set the time and date!
Deposits
Deposits are used towards your tattoo. Deposits are half the cost of the tattoo estimate. For example, if your estimate is $200, then we will require a $100 deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable. Please ensure that you will be at your appointment on time! There is a lot of preparation that goes on behind the scenes, every missed appointment not only takes money from the artist, but also supplies and time spent making your design!
Minors of 16 or 17 years of age can get tattooed with Parental Consent.
Minors must have a Notarized Parental Consent Form and legal guardian present for the entire tattoo process.
Drugs and alcohol are not permitted on the premise. If you have been drinking or are intoxicated, we will not tattoo you. Tattooing is hard. Tattooing a moving target is even harder.
Food and drinks are permitted in the lobby, but CAN NOT be in the tattoo station. Eat before your tattoo, and for longer procedures, your artist will discuss break options.
